As well as making bread, gardening, homeschooling and doing a spot of graphic design, The Loop Project also manage to squeeze in some old-school research projects from time to time.
Both Andy and Leanne have degrees from the University of Sheffield (woo woo!) and Andy completed an MSc at the Centre of Alternative Technologies Graduate School of the Environment in 2011. His final thesis looked at local food production systems and whether Llanidloes “could feed itself”. His thesis is available to read, just drop us a message. Andy’s module essays are also available.
Another recent project was an investigation into the Green Deal for LLES. Again, please get in touch for more information about this.
We have recently finished a feasibility study called Making the Most of your Community’s Kitchens. This looked at the benefits of setting up a network of local hire-able kitchen space for small food entrepreneurs in and around Llanidloes. Feel free to download and read the report from our Llani Kitchens website
Our particular focus is generally on the local economy and food production systems, however if you have a piece of consultancy work which you think we may be interested in doing, please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements further.
